How to get to the Gulf of Policastro

By train:

the main line is Rome-Naples-Salerno-Reggio Calabria: if travelling by Intercity trains leaving from Rome, Naples, Salerno, Paola, Reggio, the station of destination is Sapri; at Sapri you’ll get on either a local train or a coach; if travelling by local trains leaving from Naples, Salerno, Paola, the station of destination is Policastro Bussentino.

By car or motor-cycle:

motorway A3 (Salerno-Reggio Calabria). Leave the motorway at junction PADULA-BUONABITACOLO, and take the nationwide road SS517 and follow the direction for POLICASTRO and SAPRI.

Alternatively the nationwide road SS18 Salerno-Reggio Calabria crosses the town of POLICASTRO, although it is a long and winding one.
